If this is interior, do you need a drywall frame (applying the frame to the wall after drywall has been installed) or do you need a welded stud frame (applying the frame to the stud before drywall has been installed)? What anchors would you need? (i.e., wood stud, metal stud, drywall clips) Is the opening fire rated? If so, what is the rating (i.e., 20, 45, 60, 90, 3 hours)? How does the door swing? We hand the door from the key side. If this is an exterior opening is it an existing wall? If so, typically the frame is knockdown and we supply anchors (i.e., tapcons, thunderbolts etc.). If this is an exterior opening what is the rough opening size? Does the exterior opening need to meet egress? Are you looking for a metal door or a wood door? Are you looking for a flush door (no window) or a door with a window? (i.e., 12 x 12”, 7x 22”, 24”x 32”) The metal door we carry is primed and the wood doors we carry (rotary natural birch or plain sliced red oak) are unfinished. We do not paint or stain doors in the house. We can have the wood doors factory stained with factory standard lead times. What kind of hardware are you looking for? Besides hinges, lockset? Closer? Exit device bar? Weather-stripping? Push/pull handles? What finish for the hardware? We carry brush chrome. Finally, are you looking for installation? If so, I would need to stop out for a survey.
